Outlook.com Smart Network Data Services - How to protect your e-mail reputation.
Last Updated 2 years ago

If you are having issues with e-mail being delivered to Outlook.com or any 365 mail service you may want to register your IP with Microsoft SNDS. You should probably do this even if you aren't having issues.

Your reputation has a major effect in the determination Microsoft spam filters use when they decide to deliver or just drop your mail.

The service uses your MX record reverse DNS with your [email protected]{domain] to validate your right to access this data. So you need to have either [email protected][your domain] or [email protected][your domain] Setup
