QUEENCREEK SurSvc.exe file Issues
Last Updated 2 years ago

This file is supposed to be safe. However I was having issues were my PC would just randomly turn off with no warning. It was like some one pulled the power plug out, and put it back in. the PC would immediately start running again and bring me to the logon prompt. I thought the issue was a bad power supply so i replaced that. and removed other older components that were not needed any more. did countless virus scans updates and all the normal diagnostic techniques. but couldn't track it down this went on for a year. There was no info in the event logs just before the power issue either. One day i stumbled on the the service trying to take care of another issue and Queencreek jumped out as odd. I googled it and most sites say it's fine. I scanned the file it came up fine. So i just turned the service off. PC worked fine for a day windows did update an rebooted the pc which restarted the service. PC was cutting out randomly again so i disabled the service this time and no issues for 4 days. So in my case QUEENCREEK was an issue.

I will be uninstalling it.
